We offer a full maintenance service for roll pallet and Tetretainers to give your equipment a new lease of life. Our mobile engineer units repair damaged equipment at customers’ premises. Alternatively we collect full loads of damaged cages directly from your site with our purpose build transporters and return them fully restored. K.J. Pike hold comprehensive liability insurance and takes full responsibility for the quantities of damaged cages collected. Units are counted onto our vehicles and we are accountable for any losses at all times.

Repair & Refurbishment

K.J. Pike & Sons repair all types of shopping trolleys, roll cages and wheel chairs. Bent metal components are straightened and broken parts welded. All types of spares ranging from new wheels and castors to front doors and side frames are supplied. We also offer and fit smaller components to give your equipment a complete START-to-FINISH overhaul. A full safety check is carried out to ensure your Tetretainer’s operate at maximum efficiency.

Trolley Treatment

We offer customers a specialist trolley re-plating service to manufacturers’ specifications, which gives your equipment a brand new finish and protects it from the environment. Equipment is thoroughly cleaned and all parts are electroplated in high efficiency alkaline zinc solution to EN12329 - 2000 Fe/Zn8/a/c. The zinc plating process adds high corrosion protection which complies with the EOLV Directive and to increase corrosion resistance even further, cages are coated with a NZG topcoat. Finally, completed units are oven-dried and fully lubricated to ensure a consistent high quality finish before they leave our premises. K.J. Pike achieve such a high standard of refurbishment with the co-operation of Metal Colours Ltd. of Slough.

Trolley Maintenance

Our fleet of purpose built vehicles and fully trained engineers enable us to provide a comprehensive on-site maintenance services. All vans are fully equipped with spare parts and essential maintenance equipment. We carry out any type of repair relating to trolley maintenance and hygiene on or off-site, depending on client requirements and preferences. Our service vans carry sufficient power supplies and welding equipment on board and any on-site servicing is performed independently of customer store supplies, causing no interference with the store’s routine operation.
